Really? Okay then, I’m going to try it! I guess I just need to use up what’s in my freezer now and quit buying expensive Costco dishes in the freezer section! LOL Thanks!

Regarding your “Life The Journey” blog and your upset due to readers’ comments, all I can say is this: The internet is a cold, cruel place where people can say all kinds of horrible things because it’s anonymous and removed from face-to-face interaction. I’m sooo sorry you’ve been hurt. Not surprising you would feel more from one bad comment than 10 good ones — isn’t that the human condition?! BUT, there are some of us “strangers” who truly care and are praying for you, your kids, your pets, your husband. While I would hate to see your blog go, or see you censor yourself, the most important thing you can do is PROTECT YOURSELF any way necessary. This world is wounding enough without trying to avoid hurt as much as possible. I apologize on behalf of all the unfeeling, rude blog-readers out there! Remember who you are in GOD and hopefully it will be easier to ignore the negative strangers! With warmth and love, Connie, Gulf Shores, AL

Last Polar Bear Exhibit - The Burke Museum (Seattle) « Simply Seattle
[...] 1:30 pm ~ Burke Room Lecture The whole Polar Bear truth … and nothing but the truth Executive Director of the Alaska Wilderness League, Cindy Shogan, will discuss her vehement opposition to oil drilling on the North Slope of Alaska. Learn the latest polar bear politics from a self described D.C. political addict, and hear what you can do to help protect this critical species. My kids and I will definitely try to make it at some point while this exhibit’s still on display at The Burke Museum, but I seriously doubt we’ll be able to make it to the opening day festivities — although they sure sound great! ~Debi [...]
