We have found in our house that focusing on appreciations - for the world and for each other - can definitely shift the whole household towards a feeling of fullness. We have our "appreciation banner" up all the time with a pocket for each family member and another pocket for "the universe". So glad I found your blog. I love this. They trace their hands on the paper and make turkeys and then decorate them. We use construction paper and cover them with clear contact paper. It is a nice treat for us to send to the grandparents. All our family lives in a different state. In the past we would take a nap so we could get up really early tohit the sales on friday.
