My two daughters are both wheat/gluten intolerant so I’ve been struggling to find my way through the maze of gluten-free products, books, cookbooks and other information that’s available now. I decided it’d be helpful for me to make a place for myself online where I can link to the various gluten-free products that are available online, and then it dawned on me that perhaps other folks would find that information helpful, as well, so I made myself a little “store” (of sorts) called “The Gluten-Free Zone.”I don’t know if any of you readers to my blog are dealing with gluten-free diets in your families (I think a couple of you actually are, if I’m remembering correctly), but in case this is helpful for you or someone you know, I thought I’d post a link. Feel free to pass it on to anyone else you think might benefit:
There are gluten-free flours, mixes, breads, cookies, crackers, desserts, cookbooks, gift ideas, basic informational books, and even some fun items for the gluten-free kids in your life.

My daughter has been gluten-free and casein-free for almost thirteen years! I did not know your daughters were GF. I have posted some recipes at my blog, but they are not extensive. One really fun recipe is Hungarian noodles (nockerl).

One can not have too many gf recipes. I feel that we need to stay with the basic home cooking. I have found in a lot of store products that are gf also contain other additives to prolong the shelf life, is that good for us? Most likely not. It always pays to check the content.
